Recently, Guangzhou Tricolor Quantum Technology Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Wansepu Institute of Color Science jointly announced that they have achieved a major breakthrough in the field of color algorithms, bringing innovation to global color detection and management.
They have launched an adaptive spectral analysis algorithm. This algorithm can intelligently identify the characteristics of ambient light sources, quickly and accurately analyze the spectral reflection information of object surfaces, and achieve high-precision quantification of colors.
In practical applications, this algorithm has brought great convenience to multiple industries. In the textile printing and dyeing industry, the rate of defective products caused by color deviation used to be as high as 5%–10%. After adopting the new algorithm, the color matching accuracy has been greatly improved, and the defective rate has been reduced to zero, effectively saving production costs.
In the high-end automotive painting process, the new algorithm ensures that the paint color of each car is uniform and consistent, meeting the stringent international color standards, and improving product quality and brand image.
From the perspective of international science and technology, this algorithm breaks through the limitations of traditional color algorithms, realizing a leap from “approximate matching” to “precise quantification”. At present, products equipped with this algorithm such as spectrophotometers and colorimeters have been sold in more than 50 countries and regions around the world, and have been highly recognized by international giants such as German high-end automobile manufacturers and Italian high-end textile enterprises, driving the upgrading of global color management technology.
